Research shows that preschool is vital to a child’s future academic success. Choosing the best learning environment for your child is very important. Mahoosuc Montessori is solely a preschool. Class size is limited to twelve students ages 3-6 years old.
At Mahoosuc Montessori your child is enrolled in their very own school; a special place for learning with classmates of their like age and abilities, separate from the setting where care may involve eating lunch, playing with siblings or younger students, and having rest time.
Students explore skills in the following academic areas: Practical Life, Sensory, Language, Math, Science, Art, Grace & Courtesy, Movement, and Care & Respect of the Environment.
We are lucky to be located in the heart of Bethel and spend time exploring our charming neighborhood rich in diversity. Our class takes pride in reducing, reusing, repurposing, renewing, and recycling. Weather permitting, part of every day is spent outside.
One fundamental idea of Dr. Maria Montessori’s philosophy is that concealed within each child is the person that child will become. Let your child develop their fullest physical, spiritual, and intellectual potential through order and self-discipline at Mahoosuc Montessori.
